Cabernet Franc Icewine
Our VQA certified icewine is produced by leaving grapes to freeze naturally on the vine, resulting in a small harvest of highly concentrated juice, fermented to make this unique dessert wine. Cabernet Franc is an earlier flowering variety of grape, making it suitable for Ontario’s climate, and well suited for icewine production.
Tasting Notes: Pale red-gold, with strawberry and spice aromas. Red berry and brandied plum on the palate, with fresh acidity and an elegant finish.
